When Roxy arrived, it was with an explosion. Semi-literal because the moment she hit the ground, an array of JUNK just flew from her and covering the floor. When Roxy woke up minutes later, she was ready for there to be something going on. It seemed like she hadn't been able to wake up lately without shit going down. So, no, she's not surprised she's somewhere else. No, she's not surprised by the message telling her she was in a whole other dimension (because it can't be hers, the Medium was too small to have unknown planets.) The man's accent is...admittedly, a small comfort. Considering the 'home' of one of her friend. But when he mentions glitches, she just starts laughing and laughing and laughing.
It took several minutes for her to calm down. She picked up her things, figuring out things were Wrong already. Confirmed when she couldn't get her clothes to change and had to manually change from godtier to some normal clothes. If what she understood from movies held true, walking around like a superhero thief wouldn't get her good attention so t-shirt, leggings, and miniskirt it was. She gathered up her things, tying clothes to act as a bag before going to the helmets.
Which was another time of just...staring for several minutes. Finally she tried them on, only keeping them on for a few seconds at best, before finding one that fits and adding it to the pile. From there, she got a key, went to her room....and immediately hid her stuff in the bathroom, taking some key parts from the guns, her phone, scarf, and gas mask from the pile. She leaves the helmet.
She's learned to never trust headgear from others, but it's a good idea to be able to take them apart later. If her stuff was still there when she came back, because she wasn't waiting for an explanation. That hadn't been going well lately either. If they were legit, she'd be able to ask later. If not...well, she'd figure it out anyway. She wasn't leaving anything important behind, at least.
So it's only a short time after she exited the portal that she's standing outside, just holding the mask at her side as she looked around. She noticed that the helmets were, in fact, a thing. And that...that there were PEOPLE and she wasn't sure how to handle that right now, so instead she just put on a bright smile, humming as she walked down the street.
It looked like there were stores. She's never gotten to see a STORY before, so why not explore?
