Gritting his teeth, York tried to keep his head turned slightly so Jersey wasn't in his blind spot. He blocked the punch to his chest, but realised as the blow glanced off his forearm that there wasn't much power in it. A split second later, he was sent reeling back from the blow to his head.

He found his balance fairly quickly and leapt back at Jersey, managing to get a punch to his injured shoulder.
