Delta pulls back a little and Theta wants to pull in close again, but he knows what his brother is looking for, so he waits until he sees the realization in his brother's expression before hiding his face and clinging to him again. His bruised eye throbs against Delta's shoulder, but he doesn't care, he needs the closeness more.

Delta knows, probably figured out what happened, he's smart. He feels the vibrations again, harder than before, and decides being deaf right now isn't entirely a bad thing.
