Log: The Waiting Game
Who: Recovery and anyone else passing by
What: Waiting for the employer to show up
Where: Two blocks south of the Green Fairy
When: Saturday afternoon, 4/11
Warnings: None expected
Wash had been standing at this street corner for over an hour now, and his contact still hadn't shown up. It had gotten to the point where Wash was done with being suspicious. Now, he was just bored. The call hadn't given Wash much to work with regarding details. It was little more than a thirty-second voice clip saying they had need of some assistance and to meet them here today. That was fine. Sometimes, it was necessary to be a little cryptic, and if this potential employer was a threat, well, Wash has got a knack for getting out of things alive. It's why he has a job in the first place.
Dangerous situations, shady jobs? No problem. Boredom, on the other hand, was much, much worse. People-watching can only get you so far. Wash doesn't know what he's gonna do if someone doesn't show up soon. Explode? Learn how to use the yo-yo that's been in his pocket for ages? Who knows?
