They can't afford to go into orbit this year, but Sigma is perfectly happy with the alternative. He and York have eaten and made love and showered and packed, all in the space of an afternoon, and now they're off to the observatory for the night. It's the kind of thing Sigma would be excited about anyway, but it's even better with York here.
York, here. It's been that way for exactly a year now. Sigma can't remember what life was like without him. They ride the train to the observatory and he can't help the stupid smile on his face.
