Church tells himself he's still not sold on this whole family thing. And maybe that's true. But damn it, he's not going to run off like a coward. Not yet, anyway. He's going to try. He's got to.

His pants are not ripped, thank you very much. His shirt is clean. He looks more or less presentable as he rolls up to the place right around noon, just when Tex ordered him to (and he's certain it was just that, an order, and not a casual suggestion). Rings the doorbell. Tries not to look too nervous. (Spoilers he's so damn nervous.)
