Maine's drives to the Ai residence are getting shorter, though whether he's growing used to the commute or his speed is creeping, he doesn't notice. He's too eager to get there.

York is hurt, their little world is in danger, and all he has is his jeep and a box of brownie mix.

Delta actually manages to make a 'meep' sound into the kiss and then he's jerking away from Maine. Not quite falling to the floor, but definitely pulling away. He catches himself and is standing in seconds.

"I... it's... Go away!"

Epsilon rolls his eyes at that growl. Really? He's not that easily scared off. But when Delta responded like that... He would listen. "Calm down, Delta. I'm just teasing. I can keep my peace regarding what you two lovebirds are up to. Just be careful."

He's heading toward the door. "Just, if you go past make outs and touching, remember that there are condoms."

Maine sits up in case he has to vault over the back of the couch and chase Epsilon out. It looks like he's leaving of his own volition, though. Good.

"I... that's..."

Delta shakes his head, blushing furiously, and instead of confronting Epsilon, just walks off toward the kitchen. He needs a moment to breathe.

Epsilon just... Stops at that. He may have intended another parting comment, but he didn't think Delta would be that upset. Now, he feels guilty. Once Delta's gone, he looks at Maine. "Didn't intend to upset him that much. I'll go. You take care of him."

He's heading out the door. Hey, at least Delta being upset stopped worse comments.

"He wasn't uncomfortable enough the first time?" Maine snaps. He grabs the brownie mix and follows Delta to the kitchen.
