Log; Happy Birthday, Boyfriend

The problem with having a clever live-in boyfriend is that Sigma has no idea how to hide his birthday present. Clearly, the solution is to not keep the present in the apartment. Still, what to get him?

Ultimately, it was the beignets that gave him the idea. He ends up not getting anything until the morning of; then, an hour before York would wake up, Sigma sneaks out of bed. A note on his pillow should keep York from worrying if he wakes up early. Sigma takes a spare outfit into the bathroom so he can change quietly later, then puts on street clothes and he's ready to hit the store and the Green Fairy.

He's home within a half hour of York's usual wake-up time, arms loaded with groceries and a latte for York. Hopefully the smell doesn't wake York. Moving quickly, Sigma snatches a length of gold ribbon from the bag and hurries into the bathroom. He stowed the skinny jeans that York loves in here and his soft brown button-up shirt that he bought for the party at Errera tonight. He unbuttons the sleeves, though, and only does the second-to-last button up the front so his shirt hands open. All the easier for York to see his collar, which he puts on now. Last of all, he slips the ribbon through his belt loops and ties the biggest bow he can manage.

There. The first part of the present is wrapped. Now he snatches everything else and carries it to the bedside table: the cinnamon spice latte, whipped cream, caramel and chocolate syrups, fresh strawberries, and even a little bowl of powdered sugar. For a final touch, he sets the cuffs beside them. Hopefully he did a decent job rigging up the headboard so they can use the cuffs more effectively. For now, though, he gets into place, climbing onto the bed and straddling his boyfriend.

"Hey, birthday boy," he croons. "I brought you breakfast in bed and a present to unwrap."

York's hands brush lightly down his sides. 'Can you now?'

"Yes!" he yelps, laughing.

He laughs and stops, leaning up to kiss his forehead in apology.

Sigma is laughing too hard to pout.

"I thought you were supposed to use your mouth, not your hands," he teases.

Just for that, York ducks down again and licks a long stripe from Sigma's naval to his collar bones. 'That better?' he asks, barely suppressing a grin.

That makes him shudder with delight. "Y--yeah," he manages.

'Hmm, I'm not sure.' He licks another line up and stops this one just above his heart.

"Definitely," he says, humming at the gesture.

He smiles and starts pressing open mouthed kisses all over his lover's torso, moving fairly slowly, but purposefully.

Sigma isn't sure how he would describe the sounds he's making, other than pleased. Sometimes York's lips tickle and he does laugh, but for the most part, he just grins up at the ceiling and leans back.

He moves back up to nuzzle around Sigma's neck and shoulders and his hands slip down into Sigma's boxers and start pushing them down.

It looks like York's found something else to please his palate. Sigma tries to lie back but he's terribly distracted.

Sigma keeps fidgeting under him. He pulls back and looks up at him, chin resting on his thigh. 'Alright?'

"Very," he says. "Still not used to this. But not in a bad way." It's exciting, really.

'Good.' He presses a kiss to Sigma's thigh, then turns to the main concern seem normal.

He hums at the kiss, though his breath catches when York moves on.

He nuzzles around his naval then grins up at Sigma and gets his boxers of the whole way.

Sigma grins back at him. His birthday, his rules, and Sigma certainly isn't complaining.

That's what I get for typing while half asleep :3

York grins and kisses him once, then moves back up his torso to hold himself over him while he reaches for the bedside table draw where they keep the necessary things.

He's so tempted to sit up and kiss him. Instead, his hands slip down to York's hips to give him a gentle squeeze.

He hums and kisses his neck, then reaches down to get his sleeping sweats off.

Sigma's hands join his. Hopefully this is one present that York doesn't mind his help unwrapping.

York doesn't mind in the slightest and soon they're both naked in the bed, warm hands against each other's.

"So." His thumbs trace York's hips where they meet his own. "I take it you know what you want to do with your present?"

'Mm, you bet I do,' he murmurs, tracing kisses just above Sigma's collar while his hand slips down from Sigma's chest to the crack of his butt.
