"Of course," TC says. "Who thinks seltzer water is going to magically fix paint thinner?"

[alphawho]

"'Course you also seem to want to tailor things to someone's tastes so if there's a specific someone, maybe you know what they do like to drink?"

"Some sort of chocolate coffee," TC says. "He gets it here but only one bartender knows how to make it."

He could always make Delta Irish coffee. It has all four essential food groups. Sugar, caffiene, alcohol, and fat.

"...You know you can just say you're trying to make drinks for Delta, right? He comes here, I work here, you come here, I work here."

[shipitsupersonic]

"I didn't know if you were the bartender he knew," TC says. "Yeah, I'm trying to make something for him. Do you have any ideas?"

[alphawho]

"I know exactly the drink he likes, but I'll see if I can't whip up something a little less involved to make at--are you going out? Like...seeing each other in a more than friends way?"

[shipitsupersonic]

"Not as far as I know," TC says, giving Church a little smile. "Not yet. Maybe not ever. But I'm trying."

[alphawho]

"I mean. None of it is my place to say. Things. But you're taking on a massive undertaking, far as I'm aware."

[shipitsupersonic]

"I've met two of his brothers," TC says with a chill in his voice. "And I'm not in the habit of blaming a man for things outside his control."

Seriously, is there anyone Delta hasn't pissed off in town?

"Hey, whatever floats your boat. If he's happy to try someone new to move on, thaaaat's his deal."

TC gives Church a serious fisheye. "Is there a reason everyone acts like I'm dropping a toaster in my bathtub whenever he comes up?"

[alphawho]

"He's kind of hard to handle and generally is either too stubborn for his own good or doesn't know what the fuck he wants. From my experience." Which, granted, isn't actually all that much!

[shipitsupersonic]

"So is there a citywide conspiracy to isolate him or something?" TC is really not amused by people constantly telling him to not waste his time.

[alphawho]

"He's his own isolationist conspiracy. I'm amazed you haven't seen that. He doesn't like feeling happiness; it's fucking obnoxious sometimes. But if he's letting it happen, I hope he doesn't crash the boat, much less rock it."

[shipitsupersonic]

"All I've seen is people telling me to get out while I still can," TC snaps. "What do you care? Don't you want him to be sad and drinking?"

[alphawho]

"I'd rather he be happy and drinking."

[shipitsupersonic]

That's not really an answer, but TC drops it. "So if he was happy and drinking -because I make him happy- what would you make him?"

[alphawho]

"I'll give you the recipe for the choco-coffee drink he likes, and I'll send you some simpler stuff too along the same lines. A couple weaker fruity drinks, too. A lot of his siblings seem to like those."
