"Plenty of space," Delta allows. "Like... five bedrooms. Cept only three are finished. One we're gonna make a guest room. Other save for when people start needing to spread into more their own rooms. Make sense?"

"Yeah. You guys needed more space, from everything I've heard."

[protective_logic]

"Now we're going to have more than we ever imagined," Delta sighs. He doesn't much know what to do with it. Now that things are in motion he isn't sure what to do with himself.

"You don't seem exactly thrilled about it."

[protective_logic]

"I'm not," Delta admits. "I'm... scared. If we don't like it, it doesn't matter. We're stuck there. I've... never not been in the house, aside from a scattering of nights with Maine and TC. It's unnerving, when it's all you know. When it's so full of haunting memories."

[alphawho]

"Just means you get to make new memories that aren't tainted by shitty abusive weirdos. And you've got more space, which you've needed for forever. It's an adjustment, but one you'll make pretty quickly."

[protective_logic]

"I don't know that I will," Delta shrugs. He's honestly not sure. He wants to, but he guesses he should be more concerned about the little ones.

"I hope it goes well."

"Pretty quickly for the ones who aren't horribly neurotic, then," he amends.

[protective_logic]

"Wow, great opinion of me," Delta chuckles.

[alphawho]

Shrug. Doesn't make it any less true.

[protective_logic]

"Yeah, be like that," Delta grumbles. "You just lost your tip."

[alphawho]

"Aw c'mon!" he whines.

[protective_logic]

"I guess you can have one anyway."

[alphawho]

"Yay. That'll teach my mouth to run away with me."

[protective_logic]

Delta rolls his eyes. "Oh shut up and just give me my drink."

[alphawho]

"Don't drink too many," he says, gesturing to it. "Just drink just enough that I don't have to call you a cab but you still drink more than one. Probably."

"Just this one," Delta assures his older brother. "I came to drop off the key."

[alphawho]

"Maybe I should bring by a couple bottles of some stuff to start a nice little booze collection. As a...housewarming?"

[protective_logic]

"That would be welcomed," Delta smiles. "We can put it over the fridge."

[alphawho]

Better reaction than he thought he'd get for that suggestion. Look at him, going places. "Should I maybe bring something for the kids?"

[protective_logic]

"Sparkling fruit juice of any kind," Delta suggests. "They'll love the bubbles."

[alphawho]

"Well, I didn't mean for drinks, I just meant in general, but I'll keep that in mind."

[protective_logic]

"There's a new board game they want. Super Hero Challenge," he says. "It's twenty dollars we need to put towards new things for the house, like bedding. You will awe them with your big brother know how if you bring that."

Plus Omega would love to play it, no doubt.

"I'll...also keep that in mind, thanks. Knowing a place to start is good, I guess."

[protective_logic]

"Vital even," Delta allows. And Church clearly needs a place to start.
