Log: When I Talk You Should Listen
Who: Felix (Native), Oquirrh (Original)
What: You thought for a second that you could get away with this? Seriously?
Where: Oquirrh's safehouse but really it's Florida's
When: Friday Night 8/14
Warnings: Possible Violence, Definitely Cursing
She really thought that breaking away was going to have no consequences. Well he was going to prove her wrong. He had been watching her all of yesterday and had a clear cut idea of where the little bird was staying at. A little old safehouse towards the outer edges of this crappy city.
This was going to be fun. He can sync up later with the team and the other primes.
Breaking into the apartment was relatively easy. Just a nice slip of his knife and maybe a moment or two with a decoder and he was in. Felix surveyed the place with a slight disdain. God Oquirrh can be one boring individual. There were a couple of her stupid knitted stuff laying about. Kicking the needles and yarn off the couch, he stretches out along its length. At least it was comfy.
He crossed his legs lightly and spins his knife in his hands. Now all he had to do was wait.

He has to hope that Omega's approach does better at getting Lou closer. Clearly Oquirrh needs it.

"L?" she tries again louder. Please, L, come explain why she can't go. Not without L or Jersey or someone who knows and can speak to the titanium inserts already in her shoulder and the horror of having it possibly broken. Someone who can say exactly how sick she gets on painkillers. Who can--
She presses her eyes shut and her head harder against the armrest. "Please," she whispers.

However Oquirrh needs her. She lets out a harsh sigh before returning to the living room. A frown hidden by her visor. Hospital? Yea no. Not with these two.
"She's not going anywhere," Louisiana growls out. "Not with you two. Either here or I'm taking her. No ifs, ands, or buts."

"We're going to get you stable. And then we're going to take you to an orthopedist so they can fix this titanium ligament of yours. That is, if you want to use your shoulder again." It's not going to get worse anytime soon. That's the nice thing about metal implants. They can sit broken for plenty of time.
He doesn't look up from his work, but he says to Louisiana, "When I asked what was going on, if there was anything I needed to know? The correct answer was some form of warning she has these."

Because she is good at this.
no subject
But Louisiana will be with her, right?
"Not her fault," she tells Omega. "L, Jersey--" Her voice catches. "I want my team. Please."
no subject
"However neither of you were there when this happened before. Her shoulder essentially shattered." She glares at Florida. "So no I know more than enough about what I'm dealing with. My team was the one who went through this with her last time."
She places a protective hand over Oquirrh's good shoulder. "Stabilize her and then I'm calling my team in."
no subject
He looks back down at her shoulder, loosens the tourniquet a bit. Enough so he can use his helmet to visualize where the most blood is, where to cauterize and suture first. "You tell me if the feeling starts to come back, princess. You're doing great." She's holding still, at least, which is the only thing she can control.

Then he looks back at Omega. "And we might want to call Jersey now. If we can trust Felix not to attack anyone tonight, I want Jersey here sooner. Because my friend wants him. Needs her friends. So please..."
He looks back to Lou. "Can you two behave and do what Oquirrh needs you to do to best support her?"
His friend is hurting, can they put that first?

Jersey will be here. She'll be okay. Somehow she manages to smile at Louisiana. Eyes closed, she nods to Omega and waits for the pain to creep back.
no subject
"I've already calls him," she reports. "And I don't need your comfort right now. Just keep an eye on your son. I don't have any problem with him doing his job. Best medic I know but still a rookie."
She did not need to be angry with Omega. He was doing his job. Louisiana needed to take a dose of painkillers and check her wounds. However she wasn't budging for now.
She sends over a message to the medic. Désolé. Short and simple.
no subject
He'll have to find her some sort of sling. And Jersey.
no subject
Florida just cleans his hands and heads to the door. "Going to watch for Wash and Jersey."

"She gets nauseous and miserable on them. I wouldn't recommend it," she admits.
no subject
Hopefully she says the head of the man who did this to her.
He could give her the third degree about opiates vs. nsaids. But she doesn't need him to upset her more. Instead, he just starts packing up his kit.

Instead Louisiana takes a seat beside the couch, resting her helmet against the cushions.

Now that the immediate crisis is over, Omega doesn't know what to do. "I'm going to ... wash my hands. Anyone want me to bring anything back?"
no subject
Not juice. But she doesn't want to know how much blood she lost or risk dehydration.
