Log; Happy Birthday, Boyfriend

The problem with having a clever live-in boyfriend is that Sigma has no idea how to hide his birthday present. Clearly, the solution is to not keep the present in the apartment. Still, what to get him?

Ultimately, it was the beignets that gave him the idea. He ends up not getting anything until the morning of; then, an hour before York would wake up, Sigma sneaks out of bed. A note on his pillow should keep York from worrying if he wakes up early. Sigma takes a spare outfit into the bathroom so he can change quietly later, then puts on street clothes and he's ready to hit the store and the Green Fairy.

He's home within a half hour of York's usual wake-up time, arms loaded with groceries and a latte for York. Hopefully the smell doesn't wake York. Moving quickly, Sigma snatches a length of gold ribbon from the bag and hurries into the bathroom. He stowed the skinny jeans that York loves in here and his soft brown button-up shirt that he bought for the party at Errera tonight. He unbuttons the sleeves, though, and only does the second-to-last button up the front so his shirt hands open. All the easier for York to see his collar, which he puts on now. Last of all, he slips the ribbon through his belt loops and ties the biggest bow he can manage.

There. The first part of the present is wrapped. Now he snatches everything else and carries it to the bedside table: the cinnamon spice latte, whipped cream, caramel and chocolate syrups, fresh strawberries, and even a little bowl of powdered sugar. For a final touch, he sets the cuffs beside them. Hopefully he did a decent job rigging up the headboard so they can use the cuffs more effectively. For now, though, he gets into place, climbing onto the bed and straddling his boyfriend.

"Hey, birthday boy," he croons. "I brought you breakfast in bed and a present to unwrap."

Speaking of snacks... His hands move up to Sigma's shoulders and waist and in a moment, he's got them flipped and grins down at his boyfriend.

"You still have to teach me to do that," he teases. "Eventually." He learned something similar from Texas, but he has a feeling that might hurt his boyfriend instead of being romantic.

For now, he's content to lie back and let York enjoy his...breakfast? Dessert? Both?

'I look forward to you using it,' he purrs, bending down to kiss him again while reaching for one of the bowls.

"We'll see," he says. He can't see what York's grabbing, but at the moment, that's not what's really important.

He's got the caramel. Really, this has to be the most unhealthy breakfast ever, but who cares. Dipping his finger in, he scoops some up and sucks it off his finger, "accidentally" topping the bowl so it slowly trickles out onto Sigma.

Oh, this is going to get sticky. Sigma laughs at the gesture nonetheless. At least the caramel is thick enough that he won't have to hold particularly still to keep it in place.

They usually get sticky anyway. York tips a fair amount of caramel out of the bowl, then sets it back the table and looks down at Sigma, meeting his gaze for a moment. Then he grins, ducks down and starts licking his lover clean again.

Sigma raises an eyebrow when York looks at him. He can't help but laugh at his boyfriend's excitement. He runs his fingers through York's hair while he works, careful to keep his wrists out of the caramel.

'Don't laugh at me, this was your idea,' he teases, licking syrup from the contours on Sigma's abdomen and grinning up the length of his torso at him.

"I'm sure I'm laughing with you," he says, moaning with pleasure at York's tongue on his abs.

He's got him there. York chuckles and dips his head again, following a line of syrup up to his ribs.

York's tongue doesn't tickle as much on his ribs, but it does make him shiver. Delicious. That's the point, of course.

The shiver encourages him to follow a trail down over Sigma's collarbone, catching it before it drips onto the bed. 'So where did you get this idea?' he murmurs against his skin.

"Curiosity. And--beignets," he admits, blushing. "I wondered how powdered sugar would taste with your skin. It wasn't hard to get the idea from there."

He chuckles quietly, brushing his lips back over the sensitive areas of Sigma's chest. 'I'll make sure you get the sh-ance to find out soon,' he promises.

His breath catches, but from York's lips and from anticipation.

"I'm sure," he says, grinning.

[depthlesslock]

'Like that, would you?' he teases as his lips brush down Sigma's side. He is enjoying his literal treat very thoroughly.

"Eventually," he admits. "Don't mind me now, though." It's York's birthday, after all.

[depthlesslock]

'I always mind you,' he says, nipping at one of Sigma's sensitive spots.

[ambitious_muse]

"True. And I love you for it." The brush of teeth makes him shudder again.

[depthlesslock]

'Love you too.' He's licked off most of the syrup by now and is just mapping out Sigma's torso with his mouth.

Sigma hasn't noticed that the caramel's gone and he certainly doesn't mind.

He goes back to Sigma's abdomen. That always gets the best reactions from his lover.

Oh no. He was afraid of this. Grinning helplessly, he braces himself for the tickling that he knows is coming.

Tickling? What tickling? York just enjoys making his boyfriend moan and beg for more. No tickling involved.
