Log: Tending the Twins

Before he picks up the twins from school, Sigma finds everything he should need. Paper, pencils, crayons, and even a few stickers, so they can decorate the room with "Get Well Delta" cards. Dishes, cups, and favorite juices. A rogue ball of string in case York wants to help the twins play the "secret agent" game that he proposed on their second date.

It's a lot for one morning of babysitting, but Sigma really wants this to go well. Delta needs it, and more importantly, he hasn't seen York since before finals. It's time to sit back, have fun, and pretend that nothing is wrong.

Thankfully, the twins are pretty docile by the time they get home. Both of them have been cranky in Delta's absence. Now, they just seem resigned. Sigma hopes York will help him cheer them up.

The touch of York's teeth makes him gasp, then hum with satisfaction. Part of him worries that York will mark him and his brothers will panic.

The rest of him wants it. York is more than welcome to claim him. He slips his other hand low around York's waist and teases it under his shirt.

He won't mark him, much as he wants to. Not this time at least, unless of course, Sigma asks for it.

Sigma's palm is hot against his skin and he presses into it, enjoying the warmth of the contact.

Sigma lets his hands slip to York's spine, exploring smooth skin and the bone underneath. His slow hands trace each vertebra with very little pressure, just the press of his fingertips.

"Don't stop," he manages to say.

Sigma's fingers tracing his spine make him shudder again, the ripple following the fingers.

'If you insist,' he breathes, not that he was planning on stopping. As he toys with Sigma's neck, his hand leaves Sigma's arm to trace his collar bones and settle on his chest, pressing gently to keep him against the wall.

They aren't kissing yet he still breathes heavily. He tips his head back until he's flush with the wall, eased back by York's hands. Those wonderful hands. It's easier to breathe this way, and York has better access to his neck.

York quickly takes advantage of the exposed skin, the hand on the back of Sigma's neck shifting up to tangle in the hair he can reach now that Sigma's tilted his head back.

He gasps at the hand in his hair, still smiling. He shifts his hands somewhat so that his fingernails graze York's back.

York's muscles roil with the scratches and he can't help the small moan that escapes him as he presses closer.

Sigma laughs softly at the response, at the lips on his neck, at the hand on his collarbone. Thank goodness the twins are asleep. He wouldn't want to explain this to them.

York pulls back enough to see Sigma's face. Flushed, eyes and pupils wide and bright, laughing slightly... God, he's beautiful. He kisses him firmly, their legs pressed against each other's.

There's such tenderness in that grin, such anticipation in his eye, that Sigma's knees might be going weak. He clings to York and kisses back with fervor, knees pressed against the sides of his legs.

His hand comes round to cup Sigma's face, while the other traces down to his hip to help support him.

Sigma presses into those hands. How he loves York's hands, but the touch and the heat that they kindle in him. Leaning into the kiss helps steady him, too.

The hand on Sigma's hip shifts, thumb brushing under the hem of his t-shirt, soon followed by his palm.

York's hand is barely warmer than his back but draws heat with its touch. Sigma shivers with excitement.

His hand traces over Sigma's torso, following the contors and finding each of his ribs with his fingers.

Sigma is grateful he isn't ticklish because it's already hard enough to hold still. He's happy here. He's safe here. So why can't he stop thinking about his bedroom and the two beds pushed together? He breathes in sharply at the thought.

At the sudden intake of breath, York pulls back a little to study his face. 'Something on your mind?' he asks, voice rough from the kissing.

"Just you," he whispers.

They can't. Not with the living room a mess, with the twins sleeping in the next room over, with Omega and Delta coming home who-knows-when.

He hums thoughtfully. 'Much as I'd love that to be true, I'm sure it is.' He kisses his cheek, watching him carefully.

"Nothing we have time for," he says. "But Maine did push the beds together in my room."

York swears he feels his heart pick up. 'You sure we have no time?' he asks. 'How long did D and Omega say they'd be?'

York looks so hopeful. "Could be hours," Sigma says. "But the twins usually only sleep for a half hour."

Damn. While they could be done in half an hour, if this would be Sigma's first, as he suspects it is, York wants to spoil him.

York's expression confirms what he had dreaded. "It's okay," he whispers. "We don't have to rush."
