Log: Tending the Twins

Who: Sigma Ai, Agent York (Native), any Ai siblings who are at home
What: Babysitting the little siblings during Delta's appointment

Before he picks up the twins from school, Sigma finds everything he should need. Paper, pencils, crayons, and even a few stickers, so they can decorate the room with "Get Well Delta" cards. Dishes, cups, and favorite juices. A rogue ball of string in case York wants to help the twins play the "secret agent" game that he proposed on their second date.

It's a lot for one morning of babysitting, but Sigma really wants this to go well. Delta needs it, and more importantly, he hasn't seen York since before finals. It's time to sit back, have fun, and pretend that nothing is wrong.

Thankfully, the twins are pretty docile by the time they get home. Both of them have been cranky in Delta's absence. Now, they just seem resigned. Sigma hopes York will help him cheer them up.

York grins and pats him on the leg, then just leaves his hands there while he watches the twins.

Sigma rests his arm along the back of the couch and turns to watch. Iota now makes his way through the new maze, leaving the crayons for his sister as he goes.

"Your turn, E," he announces when he has reached the other side.

York starts idly rubbing Sigma's shins as Eta starts through the webs, collecting the crayons as she goes.

Eta comes close to a thread, but only because she's dropping one of Iota's crayons. Interesting strategy.

York's touch makes him smile. This babysitting thing isn't too bad after all.

Looks like the twins are trying to outplay each other now. Competitive for such youngsters. Youngsters? Jeez, he's been hanging around Florida too much.

He keeps rubbing Sigma's legs, seeing the smile that has spread across his boyfriend's face and wanting to keep it there.

Sigma eyes the threads and can't help but think that, whoever it was that wanted to tie York to their bed, they would be missing out on his hands. The thought makes him blush and he immediately looks back at the twins.

Red in his peripheral vision makes him turn his head to find Sigma blushing and looking very pointedly away from York. 'Credit for your thoughts?' he asks, his hands not stopping.

"I--"

Better not say this one in front of the twins. He leans closer to York and whispers his thought so that the little ones won't hear.

York's very glad Sigma chose to lean over and whisper that.

'Remind me to show you what else I can do with my hands at some point,' he whispers back.

"Please do," he says, still blushing.

One hand moves up to just above Sigma's knees. 'I intend to.'

Thankfully, the twins have each other distracted, because wow. He would point out that the twins are in here, but they should be okay. Maybe.

He doesn't let his hands wander any higher, but damn does he want to. Would see how high Sigma let him go if the twins weren't here.

It's hard to keep an eye on the twins with York's hands distracting him, but Sigma doesn't want him to stop, either. He just grins and watches Iota go after his crayons.

York waits a few minutes for them to settle back down and the twins to play in the web. Then he twists his hands under Sigma's legs and jams his fingers into the underside of his knees, tickling hard.

Yelping, Sigma writhes and tries to pull free. He knows better than to roll off the couch, but he has nowhere else to go. He's entirely at York's mercy, and right now, he's not sure he can trust it.

York laughs as Sigma struggles to get away and stay on the couch at the same time. He keeps a grip on his legs with one hand and continues to tickle them with the other.

It's no good. He can't escape. He tries to grab the offending hands instead. His legs aren't going anywhere.

Meanwhile, the twins have stopped their play to watch, Iota with interest and Eta with confusion.

York's laughing as well now. His hand goes from pinning Sigma's legs down to fending off his attempts to stop him, his arm still holding Sigma in place.

Trying to fight free only drags him closer. He can't seem to catch the offending hand. Thank goodness they're laughing or the little ones might panic.

Of course, they also might join the tickle fight, which is dangerous this close to nap time.

Eta and Iota are both giggling at this point, which only serves to encourage York in antagonising their brother.

Finally he manages to grab York's hand in both of his. "If I didn't know better, I'd say you were trying to throw me out of prison," he says.

'Or maybe I'm just taking advantage of the fact that you're trapped in here with me,' he teases, letting Sigma have his victory for a moment before starting to tickle him with the other hand.

Sigma doesn't dare let go of his hand, not even to stop this second wave of tickling. At least he can flail his legs, trying to pin York's hand with his knees. Between laughs, he manages to say, "Not s'posed to do that 'around the kids."

He tries to evade Sigma's attempts to catch him, occasionally having to pull his hand out from between his knees. 'What, tickling? That's one of the best things to do with kids,' he says with mock innocence.
