LOG: What You Get Folks
Who: Delta Ai (Native), Maine (Native), Omega Ai (Native)
What: Family bonding... with a middle man.
Where: Movie Theater at the Gulch Mall.
When: Saturday 8/23, Noon
Warnings: Delta and Omega don't get along.
It is easier, of course, to do this apart. But the problem is that things aren't that easy anymore. They are having a problem with a lot of this. Having problems with a lot of things lately. But Maine was helping, and Delta is furious that Omega even brought the man into it. This was his boyfriend, and Omega's friend. They didn't need him in the middle of their squabble. And Delta definitely didn't need him to be here. But here, in the end, is where they are.
Delta waits outside of the theater, trying to ignore how uncomfortable he is in the open, waiting. Waiting for Omega. Waiting for his meddling boyfriend. Waiting for... well, something. Anything that proves he's getting better. That it's getting better. That he's not completely ruined.

Not like Alpha would. Like Beta would. He can behave for one afternoon. He needs to prove to Delta that therapy is helping. Not only so Delta actually goes. But so he'll give Omega one more chance.
"Hey," he says when he sees Delta outside. "Thanks for coming."
no subject
"Of course. We promised to see this together, didn't we?" he asks his brother, and wishes desperately Maine was there. At least the big man could probably stop a fight before it started.
no subject
Omega almost asks Delta if he has an answer to the questions. What would make him happy, what does he want from Omega. But that would start a fight. Guarenteed.
no subject
Delta pauses. No fighting. No saying that Omega could have just said they could do this without involving Maine. Maine is important to them both...
"You haven't told me how your therapy is going. I mean, I can see you getting around the house better, but I assume the mercs have a different way of going about it. More... focused."

God, he doesn't even know how to talk to his brother anymore.

As for the basement... "Need to get a good light and magnifier for my work area."
no subject
Helpful. Tangible. Maybe Delta will even let him pay.

Omega and Delta beat him here, of course. Sighing, he hurries over to them. Maybe this isn't a mistake. Maybe he and Texas are wrong, and somehow, the brothers can work something out for themselves.
This is going to be a long afternoon.

Omega wants to get popcorn, maybe a drink. But not unless Maine does too. He's not a tyrant.

"And we'll need drinks. What about you, Meg?"

How could today be better? An amazing movie, his two favorite guys, and a popcorn tub that still had a refill left on it in his hands? Yep, today was fucking amazing.
"The effects was so spot on. Sometimes I was shocked to remember the Caninid were all animated!"
no subject
At least Delta is happy. Hopefully this means he's forgiven.
no subject
He liked the combat, of course.
"Fun movie," he agrees.

"There are other movies like this?" he assumes. Maybe that could also be a useful bonding experience.

But then he's spinning to walk backwards and smile at his brother. "And you're totally right. They had to do that to show the sliphonomus. I just never liked that scene in the books..."
Oh, Maine... Right. He smiles right at his boyfriend. "Books. They're bringing a book series Omega and I LOVE to film. This was the first movie. It's a series called The Splendor of Sombros. It's a sci-fi adventure series with the coolest aliens and humanity exploring the Sombrero galaxy, but the author thought 'sombrero' sounded weird so..."
He shrugs.

Omega checks the sky, quickly, for some new disaster. Nope, still clear. "Are they making the next one, do you know? Because I miss the medic, I really do."
